The name displayed in ticket comments is based on the user who originally created the Zendesk connector. To change this, follow these steps to update the connector:
- Log in to Zendesk as the desired user. Use a private/incognito browser session to avoid conflicts with existing cookies.
- Go to the Knots Connector page.
- Recreate the Zendesk Connector:
- Click on Add new connector.
- Select “Zendesk.”
- Use the same name as the existing connector — this will override the previous one.
- Enter the correct subdomain and follow the setup instructions.
Once completed, the new connector will reflect the updated user name in Zendesk comments.
